A glimpse of Isla Holbox

I am not the same having seen the moon shine on the other side of the world.

In 2017 I spent 5 magical days swinging in hammocks, drinking mango margaritas, riding around town in golf carts, dancing in the streets. I met people from all over the world & witnessed some of the most breathtaking sunsets. Located in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo, on the north coast of the Yucatán Peninsula & Isla Holbox is part of the Yum Balam Nature Reserve. It is separated from the mainland by 10km of shallow Lagoon, which is home to flamingos & pelicans. Solely accessible by ferry & car-free, Isla Holbox is one of the most beautiful & untouched fishing villages in the Gulf of Mexico.
